I took pictures of the "old" playground today. I'm going to start referring it to "the 'old' playground" because I can't stand to think that it will be this way for long. The Lent K-8 PTA, newly formed, has begun raising funds to build a new one. I can hardly resist my idealist temptation to believe that we will make something awesome. We have sold Chinook Books, and we have plans to have a garage sale in March, a raffle in May, and to continue selling student art in local venues.

We need help to collect donations, solicit support, write about us in local news, request grant money, troubleshoot legal issues... I am eager to move forward!!! Let's do this!!!

I didn't take pictures of the Marysville playground, which integrated grass hills and swales, but it's a nice dream. What can you help us with?
